QSR International's NVivo is a top qualitative data analysis (QDA) program. It originated from Tom Richards' 1981 NUD*IST and is now a mainstay for scholars, with the first version, 1.0, being released in 1997 (Dhakal, 2022). NVivo supports Grounded Theory, content analysis, and qualitative data organizing, analysis, and visualization. One of its features is that it works on both Windows and macOS. This type of QDAS further supports theme coding, sentiment analysis, and sophisticated data management.
[...] It offers simple in vivo and predetermined coding (Gizzi & Rädiker, 2021). The program provides qualitative content analysis, grounded theory, and sophisticated multimedia data coding. MaxQDA themes are easy to arrange and explore. Additionally, MaxQDA offers memoing, document comparison, and mixed methods analysis to improve research. Reflection From my experience, I prefer the NVivo software, especially for complicated projects that need advanced features and qualitative data analysis. I like it because the NVivo toolkit is perfectly designed to provide various functionalities required for qualitative and complex research. [...]
[...] NVivo's visuals and query tools improve data analysis while coding. In addition to developing and organizing themes, NVivo has tools for examining these connections. The program includes data visualization, memoing, and interaction with other applications for better analysis (Dhakal, 2022). The software's extra data processes, including the visualization, memoing, and integration to external tools, make the research process more meaningful, giving a holistic understanding of the data. MaxQDA may be a premium, simple, and user-friendly system; however, NVivo, with its powerful toolkit, has become the choice for my future research. [...]

[...] Transcription, qualitative data analysis, mixed methods analysis, and visualization are also available. Effective data coding and collecting on mobile devices is made possible by the MAXApp, and uploading data to MaxQDA for analysis is straightforward. Tools for importing and analyzing data from sites like Twitter and YouTube simplify social media research. Furthermore, MaxQDA helps with the systematic categorization and analysis of scholarly sources by using bibliographic data from reference managers like Citavi, Endnote, Mendeley, or Zotero (Gizzi & Rädiker, 2021).
