The project is capable of allocating processes to various processors in the network. The "NETWORK PROCESSOR UTILIZATION" is designed using Microsoft Visual Studio.Net 2005 as front end and Microsoft SQL Server 2000 as back end which works in .Net framework version 2.0. The coding language used is Visual Basic .Net
The project aims at distributing the processes to various machines processors in the network. It contains both server and client applications. When the client starts running, the processor name is stored in the database. The server application checks and updates the client list in its application continuously.
The sample tasks assigned for clients are file copy, sum of two numbers, and factorial program. The client continuously checks for the task assigned to it through the database. If any, it completes the process and updates status. The server checks the database and updates its own application. Thus the processes are given to different client machines and the tasks completed.
The processes assigned, the status during processing and completion, are updated in the server application dynamically. At any time, the client can be disconnected from the server; server identifies the offline client immediately.
