Technologist has been pushing technology boundaries beyond our imagination. This has given rise to the digital world and technology is being used as a medium of expression, learning, entertainment and interaction. This has made digital devices the most important part of the human being. This is due to the simplification of technology and the ability of the digital devices to perform multiple tasks at the same time. This makes the devices better than the human memory since humans lack the ability to carry out multiple tasks at the same time. This has therefore increased overreliance on digital devices for carrying out several tasks. Today there are more than two billion people that are connected to the Internet and utilising different Internet platforms (Gee 2010).

The human brain maximises on how to maximise certain tasks through minimising effort and thus the digital revolution offers easier options of maximising tasks without using the brain. This therefore means that people are not able to greatly focus on carrying out a task using their brains but rather use the computer or any other digital device to achieve the output in the task that they want to do. [...] Different technologies are used to influence human behaviour where the computer has taken over everything life. Averters have been used to train people in different circumstances.
