Gay rights, human rights, homosexuals, homosexual marriage, difficulty adopting a child, hospital visits
All humans should share certain rights, regardless of their identity. However, this is not the case in multiple states. Our country has been rid of laws that discriminate based on race. Nevertheless, one discriminating factor is prevalent within our nation. Homosexuals are still discriminated against on multiple levels. Laws that prevent homosexual individuals from enjoying basic human rights should be eradicated. Permitting homosexual marriage rights would guarantee that all citizens would enjoy human rights, increase the amount of homes for foster children, and would bring financial gain to local and state governments.
[...] The amount of children in foster homes would decrease dramatically as well. The most important factor may be the amount of money states are missing out on by disallowing homosexual marriage.
