Briefly, I am a physician that graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine in 2004. After graduation I trained for four years as an orthopedic surgeon at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine, Bronx, NY. It was during this residency training that I developed a passion for scientific and medical research. During my third year of training I authored a case report entitled, "Ipsilateral Femoral Shaft and Neck Fractures in a Nineteen-Year Old with Concomitant Cervical Spine Instability: A Case Report". In addition, I helped design a prospective cohort study entitled, "Role of the Blood Test, Hemoglobin A1C, as a Possible Predictor of Post Surgical Complications in Diabetic Patients after Undergoing Total Joint Arthroplasty" which was later presented as a poster at the Moscone Convention Center, San Francisco, CA.
Due to my newfound passion and desire to improve my scientific writing and research skills, I eagerly pursued a Masters in Public Health at Columbia University. My research skills matured immensely during my year at Columbia University, as evidenced by the numerous research papers and projects that I completed.
