Criminal justice is a very fulfilling career field. In this field you will run into so many different types of people. Some, of which will show you the ropes, and others that will let you fall on your face. In this paper, you will read about the different authors who have been used in direct reference to my choice of studying criminal justice and how they provided material that can help individuals who are in the criminal justice field. You will read about the authors' backgrounds and where they got the inspiration for their articles. These authors will include Timothy Roufa, and Charles Wellford.
Our first author is an individual whom has over 11 years of law enforcement experience. Based off of that small piece of information, I would be inclined to take in educational information given by him. He currently holds the rank of captain and assistant chief in the biggest law enforcement agency in Florida. Mr. Roufa made a contribution to About.com; explaining the benefits of a college education in Criminal Justice careers. When reviewing this article it was apparent that Roufa took some time to correctly inform his readers of his stance on careers in criminal justice. With his accomplishments he is able to offer insight as to what the importance of college education is, within the field of criminal justice. His article does seem to be a new piece of research that is well thought out and detailed.
