As a leader of an organization, there are many responsibilities that and leader must take on especially shaping the culture of ethics within the organization. Also as being a leader, operational management and responsibility play a bigger role in the organization when it come sustainability issues at ECG. For the past few weeks, ECG has been in the process of reshaping the organization by implementing the code of conduct, policies, and so forth so that not only leaders will follow the values and standards but also the employees in the organization. Ultimately, leadership and responsibility vests with the leadership and managers within the organization.
As the code of conduct has been finalized, it is up to me as a compliance officer at ECG to produce sources of information to other leaders and managers within the organization about the new implementation of the code of conduct on behalf of the Ethics Review Committee. To shape a culture of ethics in the organization it "is comprised of the assumptions, values, norms and tangible signs of organization members and their behaviors" (Organization Culture, 2000). When changes come around an organization before, during, or after the structure and process of an organization, but also changing the organization culture as well along with the process and structure.

Many changes have arisen through this new code of conduct due to unethical behaviors in the pasted concerning employees making immoral decisions and acts. [...]

[...] To ensure that this new code of conduct gets spread among employee, there will be an acceptance policy giving to all employees, leaders, and managers concerning the accountability of not only receiving the code of conduct but also knowing the rules and regulations of it. Once the policy statement has been signed employees are aware of any violation that has been violated can cause a dismissal from the organization.
