The Supreme Court of the United States overturned Roe v Wade on the twenty-fourth of June 2022, revoking the basic rights to privacy and legal and safe abortion care. The majority of the medical and mental practitioners were disappointed by the court's decision as the judge's ruling was not based on any scientific evidence, thus risking the lives of many American women in the future. This essay discusses the long-term implications for women's health and privacy now that Roe v. Wade has been overturned.
[...] Implications on the unplanned pregnancies The burning of legal and safe abortion will escalate unplanned pregnancies. Some women who will get unintended pregnancies will try to use unsafe abortion or even retain the pregnancies. This may cause an increased rate of unplanned pregnancies because some individuals may not afford contraception continuously. Additionally, overturning legal and safe abortion care will cause an increase in teenage pregnancies because most teenagers may lack adequate support, resources, and knowledge to avoid unwanted pregnancies successfully. Hence, their mental health will be negatively affected. Effects on Female's Educational attainment The Supreme Court's decision to abolish the right for women to abortion will negatively affect female's educational attainment in America. [...]

Besides, the Republican Party will continue fighting for anti-abortion rights while the Democratic Party shall retain its commitment to defend abortion rights for Americans. Conclusion In conclusion, overturning Roe v Wade will deny women the reproductive health of abortion and privacy. [...]
