Today's workplace is multigenerational. Indeed, for some decades, we can identify 5 generations who have to work side by side within a single workplace. This co-living isn't only due to the put off of retirement age, but also to the fact that younger generations start working later.
Knowing this, we can wonder, in the first place, about the characteristics of each generation, then, we can discuss the advantages and lastly, we will talk about the drawbacks of this intergenerational co-living.

[...] Fast-paced and competitive, they favor face-to-face communication. They are all different but each of them has its own qualities. Working within a multigenerational workplace could be really interesting. Indeed, on the one hand, we can take most of the experience and knowledge of each generation. We can learn from points of view divergent from ours and open our minds regarding different ways to work. Furthermore, a multigenerational workplace gives us the opportunity to innovate the world of work and to break with convention. [...]
[...] To conclude, I would say that, even if intergenerational co-living could definitely be rewarding for companies and their workforces, it also presents a lot of defects. For example, the fact that older generations aren't familiar with the new platforms. Employees' well-being is a priority Everybody needs to fit into the firm he/she works So, it seems to me that organizations must regularly review their management to always meet their staff's needs and expectations. From my point of view, as long as organizations won't be able to accommodate this new multigenerational workplace, it is useless to make different generations work together. [...]
