CSS service accompanies the sales representatives in order to support them for the cotations of the existing customers. While they are prospecting new customers or anything else, already known customers can send us a cotation request to ship their goods around the world.
The missions of the CSS support are :
- Process quotation requests: be the direct recipient of quotation requests from our customers and our network, develop transport plans and define sales and cost prices in relation to operations or trade, issue offers and follow up,
- Provide Expertise: at the customer's request or in a "pro-active" manner, provide technical advice to optimize performance in terms of quality / cost / time,
- Transmit instructions to operational services and monitor shipments,
- Analyze and monitor performance reports, participate in regular activity reviews with our customers,
- Animate the quality improvement process and monitor customer satisfaction,
- Process complaints and initiate litigation files,
- Negotiate with our partners.

[...] During the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, most of shipping companies stopped shipment over those destinations. The geopolitical aspect is so a thread for Bolloré Logistics which can be performant only when there is the peace between countries. Its dependence on oil activity and its price is also a thread for Bolloré transports need fuel to move and when the price of the fuel is going up, the cost of shipping is also growing up. Some customers might find the final price too expensive to ship and it finally create a slowdown of the shipments. [...]
[...] Thanks to those studies and this apprenticeship, I am now sure of what I am looking for. My vocation is now to continue in studies that are more specialized in this domain. That is the reason why I chose the Master "Gestion Production Logistique Achat" to continue my studies.
