Investment banking activities make up the majority of bank's services. Investment bankers are responsible for generating customers, introduce them with the kind of services available by ascertaining their financial needs and manage their accounts. Investment banking involves provision of financial advice to clients, which may include corporations, government entities and private individuals (investors). Investment banking professionals are specialist in their field. They provide expertise in institutional investment as well as help them raise money. Often they are engaged in funds management, trading of securities and maintenance of financial portfolio accounts. They operate in the financial markets at the national and international level.
