To begin with, we will talk about the history of India but without going too far back in time because what we are interested in is the part of the history that still has a significative impact on the current socio-economic situation which leads the Technology Industry in India including IT services, BPM (Business Management Technology), E&RD (Engeeniring Research & Development), e-commerce and software products. We will then speak about Technology Industry in India nowadays before going further and speak about future perspectives.
[...] As a basis of comparison, the industry is currently valued between $190 - $230 bn. This would be marked by growth opportunities in the following spaces (Semiconductors, Energy transition, Tele-medicine) while leveraging on cyber securities, data, IoT and Product engineering. For example, tele-medicine in India: Covid-19 exposed the longstanding fragility of the Indian health system. The issues go beyond affordability but trickle down to underserved communities and poor data storage and management.
