In Paterson, N.J., African Americans' communities suffer from considerable barriers to health care services, which stands out as one of the most relevant population health issues. This disparity stems from various socioeconomic factors, including poverty, income inequality, educational barriers, and limited access to healthcare services. The paper will be centered around the examination of epidemiological data and the identification of the key etiological factors responsible for the health disparities among African Americans in Paterson, N.J. Extreme poverty conditions and income disparity which African Americans tend to bear lead to insufficient access to quality healthcare and resources. Health inequities resulting nationwide from the challenge above have a tendency to rally within municipalities. Addressing these disparities is crucial to improving public health outcomes and promoting health equality in the community.
