I had seen a recommendation for this book along with an interview of the author more than a year ago in a magazine. It had always looked interesting to me as I am interested in a career in addiction medicine, so when I recently saw it in a store I jumped to buy it. This is the memoir of a girl who became a severe alcoholic during high school and into college. In the interview she claimed to have written her story so that she could combat the "drinking in the name of feminism" rumors that had been spread and tell the real reason that girls binge drink.
