Taoism, also known as Daoism, is a philosophical religion that is widespread among eastern parts of Asia as well as parts of the western world. Taoism has involved several important people, namely Zhang San Feng. San Feng has also been known as Zhang Sanfeng, Chan San Feng, and Chan Sanfeng. San Feng was highly interested and influenced by the Taoist religion. So much, in fact, that he became a Taoist priest and spread the beliefs of Taoism to others. It is believed that San Feng was able to achieve immortality through his studies of Taoism which is the most important aspect of his life as a believer and teacher of the religion.
[...] It is believed that, just as in most civilizations, San Feng was merely another legendary figure rather than a person that could have possibly lived so many centuries ago. The fact that he was rumored to be an immortal is yet another aspect of his life that makes it hard for people to believe in his existence. Therefore, the life of Zhang San Feng, although of extreme importance, is very hard to follow or even prove. Taoism is much like San Feng in that it is hard to follow based on the fact that it does not rely on, nor is it based on, a singular fundamental book like other religions Christianity for example are based on.
