For the French people McDonald's is a symbol of junk food, like all fast food. But it has more the image of American food with the results it provides, such as obesity. The French consider this diet is not balanced with those fries and burgers full of these sauces. To make matters worse in the early 2000s, the crisis of "mad cow" has tarnished the image of restaurants offering mainly meat. During this crisis the turnover of the company plunged 10% in November.
In December there were social problems that appeared with a strike of 25 employees. With social problems in addition to the rest it seemed that nothing could work out. In addition to the French people the McDonald's is not a model of working conditions, because for them the company is precarious work, one can only note that the image of McDonald's is increasingly tarnished. But then what does the company do to improve its image and symbol that it represents?
First of all nutrition at McDonald's sets up menus most with respect to "French", creating the range of salads, for example, the American image moves away a little. Also on the boxes of burgers, you can now read the number of calories per serving. In children's menus found dairy products, nutritional elements are essential for proper growth.
