In this document, an analysis of the packaging of foods for children is presented. Two recipes equivalent from two market leaders were chosen: the "Bledichef, turkey planter" from the Bledina P'tit Menu, and the simmered turkey peasant from Nestle.
Above all, it needs to be clarified that Bledina and Nestle use different color codes depending on the variety of dishes which is why a comparison of the color codes is done, and identical recipes were chosen, designed for children aged at least 8 months.
The colors and the target age related to the packaging have an impact, as observed in the cases studied. Initially, it was decided to analyze the each aspect of packaging, including the container and decoration. Following this analysis, the two brands were compared in order to better define the advantages and disadvantages of each package and thus be able to determine the ideal characteristics of the new packaging, which will be mentioned in the third and final part.
Analyze the container amounts to analysing its technical function and communication function. In technical function the practicality of the product is reflected in its packaging for individual servings. The white polypropylene container is resistant to shocks performed. Opacity helps protect food from light. It is covered with a foil seal and protects the food from deterioration which allows them a longer life.
The product is compact and lightweight, so it is easy to transportand store. The materials used are recyclable and protect the environment. The product also uses the marketing sense because it is smooth to the touch and refers to other senses.
The plate-shaped teddy bear has a strong visual impact with reference to the character's flagship Nestle, but is combined with ease of grip because of the ears. In addition, the thin cardboard wrapped around the tray contains all the legal and business information it is the main medium of communication.
The colors are both symbolic and psychological effects. The blue and the scenery surrounding the blue teddy express harmony,feminine,understanding, motherhood and provides a psychological effect of serenity. The yellow background, meanwhile, symbolically expresses hatred, jealousy, hypocrisy but also fun, laughter and even joy.
The shape of the product in mind Teddy reveals the importance pf presents in very young children. An enormous head is usual indepictions of a man made by children under 6 years. The bear is an animal another symbol of childhood and softness, fluffy, awkward and soulful, a confidant of little boys and girls.

One can also find an azure number saying "hello dietary Nestlé." • All faces are used: the main front for communication, the reverse for order and nutrition information, and the sides for the method of preparation, weight etc .
