Retailing, it's an emerging trend in the India and Hyderabad is not far behind which is also witnessing the stupendous growth and opportunities presented by this sector. The term Retailing is defined as “All activities involved in selling goods and services directly to final consumers for their personal, non business use. Many institutions – manufacturing, wholesalers, and retailers – do retailing, but most retailing is done by Retailers: A business whose sales come primarily from retailing. It is a proven fact that in India the retail industry has become the second largest employer after agriculture. Indian retail sector is in boom period and many reasons are contributing to it.
Retailing is of utmost important in this changing scenario where Consumer demographics, lifestyles, and shopping patterns are changing rapidly and with the amount of choices available to the consumer is making his decision making complex. Retailing is important for more reasons than one, as it helps the organizations bring their products closer to the customer directly and it helps customer in purchasing the products which gives him maximum benefit. The potential of the Indian markets as seen in the charts, is making the corporate houses like Reliance, Tata's, ITC, Bombay Dyeing and Piramal group along with real estate companies to venture or planning to venture into retail business.
