Customers' needs are constantly changing. Regarding the bettaU™ application, an increase in demand for tailored support, an expansion of the age range, and the integration of mental health resources into students' current curriculum.
Tailored support is when a business provides resources to individuals that are tailored according to the person (Evidence toolkits, 2016). Tailored support increases productivity as an individual is shown something according to who they are and not to whom somebody else is (Evidence toolkits, 2016). The anonymous chat platform could suggest specific therapists for the student to chat based on the emotions that they are experiencing.
The age range is limited for bettaU™. Age is important for customer profiling (RedAlkemi, 2014). Consumers' needs and desires are constantly changing with age (RedAlkemi, 2014). Accessing mental health resources is something that can be done by a person of any age, and by expanding the age limit, more customers will join the application and customer profiling will increase.
Mental health has not yet been integrated within students' school work. Students' current mental well-being impacts their learning and academic achievements (Park & Nakamura, n.d.). Having busy schedules and lots of school work, this can impact a child's mental health. The use of the application can be integrated into the school's curriculum where one hour of every day is set for the students to sit and utilize bettaU™.
