[...] But nothing of the sort is on the agenda. The ecological transition is one of the biggest challenges of Formula 1. A major ecological plan was launched in 2020. The plan is quite ambitious, with the aim of becoming carbon neutral in 10 years. To achieve this, many measures should be put in place: sustainable materials, recycled waste, encouraging fans to use soft mobility and circuits better integrated with nature for 2025; zero-carbon emission cars, optimized and much reduced logistics and travel, offices and factories using renewable energy, and offsets for 2030.
