Poverty is a persistent and intricate problem that has affected billions of people worldwide. The key to any effective strategy for fighting poverty is to look behind the surface of poverty and find out whether the reasons for its prevalence are mainly due to circumstances or cultural attitudes. This paper aims to examine the facts that explain why poverty exists worldwide and will apply the sources to improve the facts.
