I am going to ponder over the notion of progress.
So, before all, let me introduce it. The idea of progress concerns a forward movement permitted by eventual actions or prowess. It's something which can concern a lot of subjects as politics, technic, or even sciences.
But the type of progress I would like to evoke is social progress.
It's undoubtedly true that young people are perceived as lacking interest in topical issues. These latter are often criticized for their political, social, or humanitarian indifference or even for their non-ecological way of life.
[...] Each example among those I have evoked is, in my opinion, indubitable proof of the younger generation's involvement whether for the planet or for the society. Actually, they are often blamed for their passivity, and criticized for their addiction to new technologies. I would say it is here a misconception: The Internet, videos, and social networks are powerful vectors that young people use to defend causes, to defend their dear world. So, can they change the world? Yes, I believe so. [...]
