The gated communities are special areas, or closeted residency where a certain group (part of the same club, people from the same social class, same beliefs, etc.) of people who choose to live together, sharing some private area (like parks, swimming pools, etc.). It's been a few years since they had started to emerge. In which way, these "gated communities" contribute to a new sort of segregation among the different social class?

[...] And these properties are protected by walls, which prevent any undesirable person to enter the community, furthermore, only a few selected people can become parts of these "gated communities". On the one hand, it's a perfect deal, you don't want to live anywhere closer than a person whose beliefs are against yours for example, but on the other hands, these "gated communities" transmit a xenophobic message, excluding the diversity from their enclosures and participating in destroying mixed-population in their cities and even regions. One thing we can ask ourselves is: Are these "gated communities" a part of the systemic racism in the USA? [...]
