Our goal is to understand the intricate nature of television programs and the factors influencing melodramatic tales' production, distribution, consumption, and reception. By examining the economic development of both countries, the media control mechanisms and regulatory frameworks, the key industry actors, and the accessibility of dramatic serials, we hope to uncover the similarities and differences between their television landscapes.
