Gender dynamics are a critical factor defining how we accord importance and interact within different spheres, like the Drexel campus and magazine and music media representations. This article discusses the presence of gendered space on the Drexel campus and reveals the ways the media portrays an issue of gender. The analysis also provides an overview of the gender bias in popular music across different genres (Macionis 2020).

Magazines Aimed at Men: GQ, Men's Health, and Esquire are where men would go. These journals specialize in men's clothing, fitness regimen, grooming, and the interests of men, namely sports, technology, and business. The front cover is often a picture of a male celebrity or athlete, which means it tries to make the stereotypes of masculinity and power associated with such celebrities. [...]
[...] Some pop songs are still limited by gender bias; for instance, in their characterization of relationships based on ideals or how they define beauty, there is an implicit focus on people's self-agency and emotional integrity.
