Australia is a country in Oceania, located between the Pacific and Indian Oceans. The country is an island but is surrounded by many countries: Indonesia, Papua New Guinea to the north, Vanuatu, and New Caledonia to the northeast, and New Zealand to the southeast. Australia measured an area of 7,741,200 km2. It is the largest country in Oceania and the sixth-largest country in the world. There are more than 25 million inhabitants in Australia.
