Theology, Gospel of Mary Magdalene, Bible
The Gospel of Mary Magdalene is in the New Testament of the Bible; it delivers the message of a passing world and the evolution of a new world without suffering. She talks of Jesus as the savior of all mankind so that they may attain eternal life. The Gospel of Philip falls in the writings of the New Testament, and it analyzes the importance of various sacramental rites such as naming and initiation. This gospel is similar to the ancient orthodox and catechism.
The two are Gnostic gospels whose main themes are salvation through faith in Christ and salvation for the social outcasts. Further the themes of love, good work and the role of women in the church are analyzed. Jean-Yves Leloup is the author of the gospels that the church accepts and implements (Lumpkin, 2006). According to the New Testament, Jesus is depicted as both human and divine in nature. His human nature is evident in that he bled during his crucifixion; he ate, wept and had emotions like human beings.

He changed the old perception the community had toward women and improved their relationship with the opposite gender (Behr-Sigel, 2004). Paul demonstrates a complex relationship with the law and often causes conflicts with the believers. He protested most of the laws by the church regarding them as not significant to the believers. [...] Different verses in the New Testament and writings from the ancient church refer to the three principles as the same being. However, some refer to Jesus as the son of God, sent to save the world and was guided by the Holy Spirit (Beeley, 2008). The classification of the Hebrew law is in three parts; the Torah, the prophets and the Early Christian teachings. Traditionally, all Jews were required to follow the laws in spite of their beliefs. The first five books of the Old Testament explain these laws where the Ten Commandments are outlined. [...]
