Police Roles and Responsibilities, judicial and correction
Protecting people and ensuring that all the laws in the country are obeyed is such a great thing to do as a patriot in a country. The police department is one of the three features of the justice system in the United States of America together with the judicial and correction centres the police personnel in the country put their lives at risk at the expense of the security of the people. The main responsibility that the police officers have in a country is to make sure that everyone in that country is protected and so do their property. They are a great source of information about the rules and regulations of a country. They pass the information when they get involved in community activities where they are located. The police system has three units in itself: the federal, state and county units. The three work together to combat crime in the country.
Police officers are the law enforcers in any country and their main duty is to ensure that all the citizens are safe and follow all the laws. The police are perceived as the people who have been entrusted with the security of its people in a given country. Police officers portray the image of the people they serve (Police Act, 2006). Enforcement of law in the United Sates is one in three parts of the justice systems in the country together with the court system and the courts. Forty nine state have policy agencies except Hawaii (LearningExpress, 2010). Police officers duty change and may range from the simplest like doing desk work to as complex as that which can endanger their lives (Brower, 2013). The police department has its roles and functions just like any other department in the government.

[...] The county police has three broad parts. The full time police they work at all time to ensure that there is law and order in their assigned counties. There is also the limited police who work under restricted areas of the county and lastly there is the restricted police they work on property that belongs to the county. Carry out the investigation till they get to the root course of the matter and should also include eye witnesses if any. In case of an evidence he should take it the evidence section for further investigation, they should also arrest any suspects within the scene.
