Global warming - Northern and Southern hemispheres - Pollution
In the recent past, the world as a whole has come to terms with the increasing incidences of heightened and elevated temperatures across all continents. The Northern and Southern hemispheres are experiencing high temperatures and this is leading to the melting of the ice at the snow caps and this water is flowing into the water bodies and this ultimately leads to the prevalence of floods. This is one of the evidence that caught my attention and in terms of scientific definitions I think that this is an issue that raises many eyebrows and it is certain that there are millions of people across the globe that have a desire to know what the main cause is to the problem. Is environmental pollution the leading factors that causes global warming or are there any other aspects associated with the growing problem? This is a scientific question that serves as the basis of this assignment and it focuses on establishing whether global warming occurs as a result of environmental pollution or as a result of other aspects. The most appropriate method that is easily applicable in the evaluation of the problem at hand is the use of experiments on different entities that encompass the environment such as the carbon monoxide concentration in the atmosphere and also in the ground as well as making certain that it takes into consideration other perspectives that lead to the problem (Ishita 2011).
Over the years, many environmentalists all over the world are always alarmed at the changing climatic changes that are adversely affecting the normal conditions that affect many communities globally. This rise brings about concern as the environment is the immediate surrounding where humans exist and this means that there came a time when it was imperative to address the issue. This paper illustrates a series of steps that involve an experiment that seeks to give reason to the main causes of global warming.
[...] Environmental pollution is not the only leading cause of the perceived global warming (Michael & Gregory 2009). Experiment I do not like to think of myself as a scientist. However, I am endowed with the senses that all human beings that is common sense although in some cases it is not so common to all people. In this regard, my experiment was very simple and I conducted it at home with the readily available apparatus I found within the vicinity of the house compound. [...]
[...] Conclusion After the simple experiment, I concluded that it was possible that environmental pollution is not the only leading cause to the ever growing environmental issue that is threatening to end human life on earth. The conclusions indicate that this is a probable scientific theory due to the many biases and controversies that exist within the context of the crucial matter. [...] This is a valid argument I must say, but I have a different opinion in light of what really causes global warming. The necessary equipment included a makeshift sun and earth so as to demonstrate what I had in mind. Making use of the knowledge learnt in school serves the foundation for bringing to light the main idea behind the simplicity of the tools used. A gas hob came into use as the sun with a big saucepan filled with water representing the earth. [...]
