A pharmacist is a healthcare professional with a mission of public service. The following paragraphs will give you a view into the life of a pharmacist. These details are compiled from an induction course conducted at the Central Pharmacy Boonefaes-Cadiou, located at Courrières. The goal of this six-week internship was to explore the profession in its entirety- the scientific, human and the management perspectives.
As I walked into the pharmacy, I was greeted by a wide retail space with four counters and an orthopedics room. There are four other pharmacies that are established in Courrieres. Apart from the above, there is a reserve room upstairs.

For those who are immobile, counseling sessions are provided so that they do not lose their vigor and can slowly get back to their routine. [...] The world of drugs The drug supply The pharmacy works with three suppliers - OCP, being the main supplier, Health Alliance and Boron being the others. The order placement for Boiron is done in the afternoon, either by phone or over the Internet. The drug is then sent the next day. Regarding OCP and Health Alliance, there are two orders everyday. Once delivered, verification of the drugs is essential. They are compared with the medicine boxes and a second check is done with the order sheet. [...]
