Ethics - Kantianism, Utilitarianism
An action can only be good if the underlying cause is derived from duty to the moral ethics according to Kantian ethics. I other words, the morality of an action is evaluated based on the adherence to the rules set in a society. Therefore, compliance to the law, regardless of the moral bearing, is the most ethical line of action (Badiou, 2011). The Kantian ethics are based on imperatives to members of the society. Failure to observe the imperatives amounts to violations of ethics.
In utilitarianism, the ethical bearing of an action is based on the ability of the action to produce the greatest happiness in the greatest number of people. Therefore, the moral obligation of an action is irrelevant provided the action creates happiness in many people (Badiou, 2011). For example, police men who interrupt a party that is pleasuring hundreds of people because of a few complaints of noise are engaging in unethical behavior according to utility ethics.

Therefore, food, water and shelter are the highest priorities in the event of power shortage and elimination of all electrometric devices. If it is not possible to get water without usage of pumping devices then manual location of a water source is central. Water is used for cooking, hygiene purposes and, most importantly, drinking.
