Thunder Bay is similar to many other diverse cities in Canada, where people from small towns around the world keep moving in search of the more promising good life. Nevertheless, the integration of these newcomers into the cultural background of the city depends on the availability of services that would be accessible, paying attention to one of the most essential services, which is education. In my capacity as a Co-op student working with Thunder Bay's Welcoming Committee, the job has been hinged on identifying the areas that might call for improvement in the quality of education offered to newcomer students, ensuring that they access all the support and resources available for them.

[...] First and foremost, the construction of transcendental packages substantially addresses the gap. They will engage less often with the academic life of the college, often failing to meet deadlines for assignments or exams, which can lead to lower academic performance. Although the programs endeavour to cater to other diverse cultural backgrounds, more expansions might be needed to guarantee total inclusiveness. Moreover, community participation must be a crucial part of the strategy to ensure newcomers learn to adapt to the existing education system smoothly. [...]
