When one imagines a dinosaur, one usually picture ferocious killing machines that once ruled the earth, but that has gone extinct a few dozen million years ago. Creationist Ken Ham believes the image to be propaganda created by evolutionists, and is contrary to what Christians believe. So what issue does Ham take with dinosaurs? Perhaps he's upset scientists believe them to have evolved? Maybe he believes God killed the dinosaurs, and not some natural extinction? Well, yes, but the biggest issue Ham takes with this view of the ancient animals is that they weren't so ancient. Not only does Ken Ham believe dinosaurs to have lived with humans—he believes dinosaurs were created only a little over six thousand years ago. This is because Ken Ham is the founder and president of “Answers in Genesis,” an extreme protestant and biblical literalist group that intends on correcting scientific “hoaxes” by using the first book of the bible to explain some of the world's biggest mysteries.
Answers in Genesis, and its members are often the laughing stock of atheists and scientists. Answers believe that Genesis tells of Earth—and universe--having been created in six literal, twenty-four hour days. They believe that dinosaurs lived among humans for most of the six thousand years of the universe's history. They believe carbon dating, most modern sciences, and evolutionary theories to be incorrect, and missing data. They believe in a literal Noah that had taken two of every kind of animal on to a literal ark while the rest of the world was destroyed by a great flood.

[...] Helens sign. As it turns out, mudflows can cut tens of thousands of years of water erosion into solid rock in just a few years and into sediment in just hours. He offers that perhaps the Great Flood was responsible for much of the erosion and sculpting of the world, as we know it. Jacobs tries to stump the man by asking how if the entire universe was created just 6,000 years ago, how we can see light from hundreds of light years away. [...]
