Rhetoric and Composition Instructor, Profession
Work includes all activities involving mental or physical effort that is done to achieve a purpose. It is mainly done with the aim of earning money. Career on the other side is an occupation that is undertaken for a better part of a person's life that presents life opportunities to progress. Profession is a job that requires certain qualifications that are obtained from special training, education or the possession of a particular skill. Vocation on the other side refers to an occupation, profession or the business that a person is attached to, mostly, as a result, of calling or passion (Allen, par 1-7).
These terms are essential in the human life as they determine the choice that a person adopts. As a student, it is healthy to make informed decisions of the destiny through carefully considering these aspects in choosing the kind of person to be in the future. Working as a rhetoric and composition is a good, but challenging choice considering the roles of work, career, profession and vocation. It provides a person with challenging situations that widen up the scope of thinking and life experience.

However, the job may be demanding, and it may be hard to take a second profession. [...] The need to acquire the satisfaction of basic needs is driven by compensation and job security. Since the profession can pay good money enough to maintain these needs, it is a source of motivation for people to perform well. Also, it is a pride to be affiliated to the profession because it is a recognized one. The proudness of acquiring a certain status in an institution can drive one to work harder. It's challenging environment and duties challenge an employee to work hard to get into new and exciting opportunities as well as doing research to get new information on the profession (Thuy and Milo, par Surname 5 Bibliography Allen T. [...] However, the load of work of rhetoric and composition instructor does not go unpaid or unrecognized. The work is challenging and demands both mental and physical activities. However, mental activities apply Surname 2 more than the physical activities. The demand of the work, however, does not mean that personal time is compromised at the expense of work. Targets can be met within the stipulated work time, but it requires professionalism in the handling of the tasks. In order to improve the professional requirements to enable smooth running of the work, on-the-job training can help to increase the knowhow of how to handle different situations. [...]
