Maldives, Climatical changes
This paper provides an elementary explanation on the continued depletion of the ozone layer that could result to a total submergence of the Maldives into the sea. There has been tremendous change in the climatic conditions, a concern that has led to disagreements and arguments among the scientists on the concerns of earth's temperature. Though, the main suggestion about climatic change was due to anthropogenic pollution.
Recently noted, there is a rise in temperature and change in sea levels along the Maldives coast located at the northern part of the Indian Ocean. This location has low altitude, and this makes it vulnerable to Sea Level Rise impacts.
Climatic changes have led to rising in the sea levels, in the island. Some committees have been held to sort out this mess. For instance, in 1989 a forum known as South Pacific Forum was held to discuss and raise interventions on the rise of the sea level. Maldives being a low lying state was the main interest of the forum (Van, 20). The forum found out that the supersonic transportation is the main cause of change in sea levels. Similarly, change in sea level has also been associated with variability of monsoon rainfall.
