[...] All in all, the two abstracts of the text really represent the historic transition of the time : there is a fear of America, at the same time than a need to go there. Rather than trying to work together with the indigenous, England prefers to build communities to be protected from them. Even concerning Asia, the necessity is really material more than cultural and Europeans are very mistrustful towards all foreign cultures. We can thus understand very clearly that the attitude of Europeans lead to the Civil War. [...]
