For any organization it is a strategic motive to certify that its long term economic position and survivability are not at risk (Barton 256). Crisis management has been adopted by many to obtain this strategic motive because it links functions including safety management, risk management, environmental management, contingency planning, security, emergency response and business recovery. These tasks are mostly resolved throughout an organization, and are supervised in a non-integrated method. This paper illustrates how crisis management was used as a technique in a corporation using functionally integrated, focused, crisis management program.
