This document analyzes three documents based on the subject of the effects of technical innovations and the methods of human management in global industry.
[...] Technical Innovations and Human Management in Global Industry - Document 1 - Document 2 - Document 3 These three documents focus on different kinds of innovations which are making the world industry more and more efficient, technically speaking but also as far as human management is concerned. The two articles are quite up-to-date for they date back to 2015 and 2017. As for the last technical document, we will see that even if there is no mention of a specific date, it most probably aims at highlighting the way manufactures have evolved over the years. [...]
[...] However, even if robots have replaced men to make a car, we still need humans to supervise them, of course. Contrary to the first article which was essentially informative, the second article aims a lot more at promoting and advertising a specific company: the Swedish company Atlas Copco. The article indeed presents the upgrading of a workshop in Hemel Hempstead, England. The article insists on Atlas Copco's great investment in Hemel Hempstead in order to remain competitive and 'meet the long-term needs of the oil and gas industry and other industries for many years to come'. [...] The third document presents a high workbench, explaining how a worker, in an assembly line, for example, can work, either sitting or standing. This technical drawing shows the working conditions of someone who spends his days in an assembly line. Yet, when we compare this drawing with the description, in the first article, of robots doing a more accurate and fast job, we may wonder if such a drawing is really up-to-date. To conclude, these three documents have a different but complementary way to focus on the evolution of industry today. On the whole, they highlight and praise progress. [...]
