In preparing for a negotiation meeting with a prospective supplier, meticulous research and analysis are indispensable. Firstly, I will investigate the supplier's background to obtain the details necessary to examine the history, size, financial health, reputation, and the most recent achievements and changes. Knowing these areas will give me a whole idea of how the public views them regarding their stability, reliability, and reputation. The next most important thing for me will be gaining enough information about the supplier's goods or services by analyzing their quality details, price, delivery, and special features to determine whether their value proposal and suitability for my company make sense. Besides, carrying out Porter's Five Forces analysis to delineate the supplier's market dynamics, including the suppliers' bargaining power, competition rivalry, the threat of substitutes, the threat of new entrants, and the buyer's power is crucial, too.

Our strategy will also pursue continuous improvement of the supplier relationships. I am dedicated to continuously monitoring, learning and diversifying these relationships by periodically reviewing and identifying performance metrics for both parties, listening to feedback from both sides and making possible improvements that will lead to better results.
