From February 28 to August 28, 2023, I was an intern at LOME BETON in Lomé, Togo. This internship, which I did as part of my third year at EM Lyon, enabled me to discover how a company works, develop my skills and refine my career plan. The company specializes in setting up construction projects in Togo. In fact, the company is an independent producer of ready-mix concrete. Thanks to this internship, I was able to gain a better understanding of the issues involved in concrete production, as well as how a company operates on a day-to-day basis. What's more, this internship enabled me to develop my technical and interpersonal skills, particularly in relation to the various tasks I was given. For example, I worked on writing reports, defining company strategy and negotiating with customers. This internship has given me a better understanding of my career plans, as I'd like to continue working in this field in Africa. The aim of this internship report is to present the company and my missions during the internship, but also to show what difficulties I may have encountered and current limits in the development of the LOME BETON company. To this end, I have identified the issues at stake in the development of the company's digital strategy, which I will develop by proposing operational solutions.

[...] This industry is growing over the years, driven by increasing demand for concrete and services from both personal and public investors Financial Analysis Regarding the financial analysis there is not much to say since the company is very recent but from what I have seen in a month is that there is a lot of opportunities for the company to increase by 50 - 60% its revenue over the years. In less than 5 months, the company generated revenue of Customer Analysis LOME BETON customer base is primarily made up of international companies and local institutional. [...] Some only work at the points where work is carried out at LOME BETON. As far as I'm concerned, I have had the chance to work both at the head office and at the various points where work is being carried out. This gave me a double vision of how the company works. In fact, I was able to understand that at head office, we don't necessarily work in the same way as at the points where work is being carried out. [...]
[...] However, in the long term, it is proposed to change this situation to guarantee better growth for the company LOME BETON. Indeed, it seems necessary for the company to be able to rely on a quality website, particularly during the discussion and negotiation phases with potential customers. Under such conditions, the company's website could become the company's showcase and thus contribute to its growth, as indicated earlier in the internship report Possible Solutions Having identified the problem, we now need to find solutions that will enable us to respond to it in the best possible way. [...] On the one hand, there is a solution linked to the implementation of a website. On the other hand, there is the solution of setting up social networks. Moreover, these solutions need to be linked to the company's overall marketing and communications strategy. A color code must be found, and a graphic charter drawn up. The graphic design of a company must enable it to find its identity from a graphic point of view and to have a brand image that is consistent with what it wants to sell (Barnard, 2013). [...]
