As a student, leadership is a position of influence, making decisions on behalf of a group or an organization, motivating and guiding others toward the achievement of a set and common goal (Tyler 179-206). In this case, good leaders must possess these essential aspects, like self-awareness, garner credibility, focus on relationship building with people around me and society at large, have a bias for action, exhibit humility and humanity, be empowered to empower others, stay authentic, present themselves as constant and consistent, become role models and are fully present.
