In the world of law enforcers and public safety, among the plethora of dilemmas that officers go through on an average day-to-day basis, police training is an overwhelming challenge. Despite a wide range of vital existing problems in this sphere, the emphasis on continuous training for law enforcers appears as an integral supplement. This issue, under the lens of multifaceted dimensions, includes its definition, boundary, and consequences. Analyzing empirical evidence and expert opinions in this respect clarifies the reason for such a need to do police training regularly, along with an understanding of how internal and external forces participate in homogenizing resources towards achieving that. In addition, it maps strategies that law enforcers and public safety professionals can use to address this problem preemptively.
