The American newspaper International Herald Tribune (Edition from Saturday and Sunday 17-18 November) decided to do its front page about the strike in France. That shows the importance of the strike and its paralyzed effects on the economy and on the well-being of the users. But that demonstrate as well a phenomenon of misunderstood for others countries. How cannot the national transportation work?
But this misunderstood comes from a cultural difference. In France, when employees are doing a strike they are protected, they cannot be fired. It is recognized as a right. The impact of the history on our society is strong and this heritage helps to understand the situation during a strike. The French Revolution from 1789 put in place a lot of rights in the goal of protection of people against "Bourgeoisie" and "Aristocrats". So people were able to show their dissension against the Power in place.
[...] As we saw the moral compass is subjective and the interpretation comes from the system of values, can be influenced by the culture, and as well by education. Concerning the French strike, opinions can be different but can be influenced and be manipulated by the media as well. Firstly to understand the conflict, we have to analyze the reasons by a comparison between the advantages before and after the reform. Then take in consideration the opinion of the users in the goal to be neutral and understand to two views The impulsion of the conflict: the willing of the government to reform the system The initial situation was that the public sector's "special regime" pensions allow 500,000 workers to make two and a half years' fewer pension contributions than everyone else.
