Ethical practices mean being in accordance with rules or standards for right conduct or practices. Procurement codes of ethics in public institutions in Kenya are associated with fairness, understanding of unbiased treatment to suppliers, integrity, due diligence, confidentiality of information, and declaration of interest, among other codes. Adherence to these ethical practices in procurement has been a major challenge facing many institutions in Kenya. This study, therefore, sought to determine professional ethics in the county governments of the North Rift counties, Kenya. This study was guided by stewardship theory, upper echelon theory, and game theory. This research used a cross-sectional survey design (Oirc, Journal, 2019).
