Tewkesbury Borough - Marketing Communications
Tewkesbury Boroughis currently characterized by dropping rates of tourism compared to the rest of the country. The rates of tourism have been declining over the last few years in the entire country. However, Tewkesbury Boroughis affected more than the rest of the country. In addition, the rates of unemployment have been rising over the last few years despite an ageing population and a relatively of population growth rate (see appendices).
Tewkesbury Borough has a healthy labour market with most of the population in their productive ages of between 16 and 46 years (see appendices). In addition, the infrastructure in Tewkesbury Borough is in good shape, with accommodation facilities available for tourists and businesses alike. Development in intangible aspect in Tewkesbury Borough such as educational levels and attitudes has also been a key feature of the last few years. Economically, Tewkesbury Borough has a diverse source of employment and income for the people living there. The leading industries include manufacturing, employing more than 25% of all workers and finance, tourism public administration and education having a combined total of 18% workers (see appendices).
