Days Inn is an American motel chain that was founded in 1970. Part of the Wyndham Hotel Group, the main aim of the chain is to provide good accommodation at the best possible price. Days Inns motels are not only situated in America. There are Days Inns in other countries such as Argentina, Canada, China, Egypt, India, Ireland, Italy, Jordan, Mexico, Pakistan, Philippines, South Africa, the UK and Uruguay. Over the years, the chain has become one of the most successful accommodation providers in America. Its franchise program started in 1972.
The Wyndham Worldwide Corporation has purchased the chain and is currently planning to process a major upgrade on the corporation as a whole. Starting a franchise with Days Inn seems to be a very interesting opportunity for any entrepreneur who meets the requirements of the franchise program. As with many other of the programs, the process is slow and the level of commitment required is high. Returns are high, but there is a need to take a long term view on the franchise benefits. This report will intend to provide an examination of Days Inn's franchise program, looking at its major characteristics and features.

In this respect, the main objective of the company is providing accommodation that answers customer needs in terms of convenience and comfort.
