Indian companies are walking up to the challenges thrown in by the market economy. To survive in this highly competitive scenario, managers are being pressured to improve quality, increase productivity, cut down waste & eliminate inefficiency. The collective effort of the employer and the employee assume relevance in this context and this is where human resource management can play a crucial role. The success of an organization depends on its employees. Successful candidates placed on the job need training to perform their duties effectively. Workers must be trained to operate machines, reduce scrap and avoid accident. It is not only the workers who need training but supervisor, managers and executives also need to be developed in order to enable them to grow and acquire maturity of thought and action. A dynamic organization would like to ensure that's its employees are capable of doing the variety of tasks associated with their role position in the organization.
