The complete name of the company that manufactures the popular game Nintendo is Nintendo Company Ltd. It was founded on September 23rd 1889 (The date shocked me too) by Fusajiro Yamauchi and is located in Kyoto Japan and the name, when translated to English, reads, "Leave Luck to the Heavens". The interesting part is that the company was not always what it is today. In the beginning it tried various businesses like cab companies and love hotels. Today with a market turn over value of $ 85 billion it is one of the biggest industries around.
