Sir Richard Branson is often termed as an entrepreneur who has always over achieved. He was born on 18 July, 1950 and is the man behind pioneering the Virgin Group to what it is today. Richard Branson studied at Stowe School, where he started Student Magazine which was his first venture when he was only 16. By starting the Student Advisory Center, he gained popularity and finally in the year 1970 he went to start Virgin retailing. In the year 1972 he started a record store in London, after which Branson diversified Virgin group in other businesses and ventures. Richard Branson has been working in the tertiary business and ensured the Virgin group became a customer oriented business organization. Branson first started in the primary sector, by selling gift trees and in the year 1970 after he signed up with the Six Pistols he started Virgin Records. Mr. Branson is also known as one of the most sorted out self promoters in the business world.
