Edurite Technologies: Empowering education, enabling careers

Abstract

Edurite, founded by Prof. Jawahar and Mr.G.S.Ravi in 2000, is now a part of TutorVista, a Global Education Services company. The company has set up a subsidiary - TutorVista Education India - which will include Edurite and cater to the domestic market. The subsidiary is now planning to foray into brick and mortar model of tutoring. "Our plan is to set up 300 tutoring centres in metros and Class B cities across India under the brand - Edurite - in the next 24 months. By March 2008, we will have 50 centres in Karnataka and one other state.

Edurite was started with a one- point objective; combining education with technology; and therein provide a comprehensive e-learning experience for students worldwide. At Edurite, education is made interactive, convenient and effective.
